DIG DEEPER:    

• Why did Jesus order that the unclean spirits not say who He was?
  
• Why did Jesus give Simon a new name? What does it mean?
  
• What does it mean to blaspheme the Holy Spirit?
  

APPLICATION:

• Do you hold bitterness in your heart against someone within your family or church body?  If so, read verses 24-25 again, and repent of this so that you can be in unity with them instead.
• How do you react to people when they think you're crazy for following Jesus?  Do you react differently when you're own family discourages you or thinks you're nuts for being obedient to Jesus, whatever the cost and whatever that means?
