STUDY:

  • What are things you should set your mind on?
  • What should you put to death?
  • List the characteristics and qualities that you should dress yourself in, mentioned in verse 12-14?
  • What should the Word of God do?

APPLICATION:

  • What specific things should you set your mind on that are above?  What things do you set too much of your mind on that are earthly?
  • What character or qualities in you still need to be put to death?
  • Write out a prayer that commits to doing all things in the name of Jesus.

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.  {Verse 2}

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.  {Verse 17}
