The unbelievers that have a moral filter and don't slander others' on Facebook or enjoy irresponsible behavior but fill their lives with "good deeds" are still part of the "Outsiders". Although they don't scream rejection of the Bible, they still reject Christ if they don't confess Jesus as the Lord of their life. Even if they seem good to the world, they are corrupt in the eyes of Jesus, for they are not covered by his blood that was shed for the forgiveness of sins. (Read Commandments & Prayer)
Nobody wants to be an outsider. Everyone wants to belong. The thing is, the "Outsiders" belong to the world, and the world accepts them. There is no accountablility for their actions other than things outlined by the law. They are free to do what they want. This seems fine for now. But when the gates of heaven are opened, and the "Outsiders" are truly outsiders and are rejected by God, it will mean something. They can't say to God then- "But really I was a good person!" "If I knew then that I would not enter the kingdom of heaven because of my drunkenness I would have stopped!" "I want to belong!!! ....please God, take me! Forgive me now! I'm sorry, I really am sorry!" Your choices now affect your life later. God in His word has told you not to get drunk, yet you continue to get drunk. God in His word told you not to have sex before marriage, yet you continue to have sex. God in His word told you to love Him, trust Him and obey Him, yet you continue to love the world more and as a result disobey Him. God in His word told you to repent, but you choose to continue in your sin. Jesus in His word, said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." Yet you try to find other ways to get to heaven. You completely steer clear of Jesus. You don't want to be associated with Him. I'm afraid to say, yet confident in this: you are the Outsider. One day heaven's gate will open and after all your excuses as to why you didn't make Jesus Lord of your life, He will say, "I never knew you." Instead of floating with the current of the world, and belonging to the world- fight upstream and belong to the kingdom of heaven.
